Hi! I'm Cat!

I’m a Dutch author of Caribbean-Indian descent, but I currently live in Hong Kong with my husband — and our dozens of houseplants that we’re desperately trying to keep alive!

I really love learning new things, so I have a BSc in Psychology, a BSc in Accounting, and a MSc in Accounting, but I write full-time now, and being able to do that is a dream come true.

I honestly don’t remember a time when I didn’t want to be a writer, and when I was really young, I’d write the silliest stories that made no sense at all! I didn’t have the courage to actually finish a story or publish anything for years, so it’s a little crazy to think that I’ve now published over 15 books!

All of my books are angsty, fast-paced romance novels that break your heart before they lead you to a hard-won happily ever after. I love stories that evoke emotions, so that’s what you’ll often find in my work.
